Does anyone have a recipe for oatmeal bars? - oatmeal granola bars syrup recipe
I left the bar in Big Sur, and now I'm trying to find recipes that can be done to.

Oatmeal Fig Bars
Filling:
1 c. figs, chopped
1 / 3 C sugar
1 / 2 c. Water
Porridge made of oats:
1 / 2 c. softened butter
Sugar 1 / 2 CB
1 / cup water 4
1 / 2 tsp. Vanilla
1 1 / 4 c. Flour
In a saucepan, combine figs, sugar and water. Cook over med heat until the mixture is thick. Cream butter and sugar, oats mix. Flour, b. Soda and hot water. Wrap in wax paper and press slightly flat. Place in refrigerator to cool. Roll to 1 / 4 inch thick 1 / 8 inch. Spread filling over half of the dough and roll the other half. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Oatcakes
2 cups flour
2 cups rolled oats
2 / 3 cup white sugar
1 1 / 4 c. Tea Salt
3 / 4 c. Tea Soda
1 cup butter
1 / cup cold water 3
