How long do CDs and DVDs last and are the flash memory chips more durable data storage then the former? - flash memory storage i

Alleged CD lasts no longer than a few passes this time years.After useless and illegible.

CD always away from the sun and the radiation source (eg, monitors and LCD), and dust and this past Foreever. Since flash memory is the concern of life data from the flash memory is only 3600 hours without a break in USB pluging. therefore can not process the data on this long

I had some CD is not readable, but I think it's cheap. As already mentioned, they made light and heat and last longer. The flash memory chips do not need to be fed, so in theory they are safer (but more expensive) method of storing data.
